A Place Called Music

Stella Flora Films is collaborating with fellow Mexico production companies Telegrama and Cactus Film and Video to produce the independent documentary “A Place Called Music” about US composer and musician Philip Glass and his ongoing creative relationship with Mexico and in particular the country’s Wixarika indigenous people.

Documentary in Progress: Atrocities in Michoacán

“Santana – Live in Mexico” for Sony/HBO

In December, Stella Flora Films traveled to Guadalajara, Jalisco to film rock and roll legend Carlos Santana’s “Corazón, Live in Mexico” concert.  Stella Flora Films served as line producer and interviewer for the Splinter Films production.  The final program will air on Sony/HBO in 2014.
